Upcoming Programs

This Pride Book Club is a collaboration between Brampton, Caledon, and Mississauga Public Libraries. It is a great way to meet readers from all three communities and talk about books you may not have discovered on your own.

All are welcome to join us for this virtual book club featuring titles written by 2SLGBTQ+ (2 spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer) authors.

This virtual book club takes place on the second Thursday of every month.

July: In the Dream House: A Memoir by Carmen Maria Machado (Thursday, July 14, 7 - 8:30 p.m.)

August: Little Blue Encyclopedia (for Vivian) by Hazel Plante (Thursday, August 11, 7 - 8:30 p.m.)

September: Deaf Utopia by Nyle DiMarco (Thursday, September 8, 7 - 8:30 p.m.)

Pride in the Square - Sunday, June 19, 2 - 8 p.m.

Pride in Brampton is a celebration of people coming together in love and friendship, to show how far the 2SLGBTQ+ rights have come, and how in some places there’s still work to be done. We are a city committed to addressing the unique challenges that face the 2SLGBTQ+ community as a result of their intersectional identities, and champions to creating safe space for Pride to be celebrated.

Look for our staff and celebrate Pride in the Square with us!
