Finding your next great read is easy with NoveList K-8! This helpful resource is designed specifically for younger readers, helping kids find new books and read-alikes to their favourite authors or titles that are just right for their reading level and interests. Parents, teachers, and librarians can also find tools to teach with books and engage young readers.
STEM Village guides students through development paths in science, technology, engineering, and math using fun learning tools, games, and assessments that identify knowledge gaps and direct new learning. This education program is based on the Ontario Curriculum and compliments hands-on programming and services currently available in Brampton Library branches. World Book Student is a resource designed for elementary and middle school students. Access all the articles from the print versions of the World Book Encyclopedia, plus thousands of additional articles and multimedia. Students can also benefit from research tools including a citation builder, dictionary, and resource guides.
Accept the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten challenge to help prepare your child for reading. Share any new or favourite book with your baby, toddler, or older child. The goal is to read 1000 books together before your child enters Kindergarten. The program is self-paced and can take anywhere from a few months to a few years depending on how often you read together. Reading together provides an opportunity for bonding and creating lifelong memories. By reading together you are teaching your child ‘how a book works’, growing their vocabulary and instilling a love of reading

The Brampton Brain Game invites you to read, play and explore this summer. Participate online or pick up an activity sheet for your age group from any Brampton Library branch to participate from home. Join offline and online STEM programs and enjoy challenges that encourage children to continue to learn over the summer.
